Hello Raider Family,

First of all we would like to thank you all for your participation and your support. You are among the almighty initial members.. the initial participants of what will grow to be a network of tens of thousands of Powerful, Confident, Educated, World changing GC Alumni.

With that said, lets start on a good note. We ask that you all take the time to visit the FAQ tab under the Welcome Banner to familiarize yourself with the functionality of the site and the site rules. This is a social network, but we must maintain aesthetic standards. Please post your PROPER first and last name and a photo. If you have a nickname or a name that Alumni will know you as, include it in quotations in the middle of your name (ie John "JD" Doe).

So here are two projects for you as you start:

1: If you do not have a picture on your profile, I ask that you make it a point to take the digital camera with you wherever you go this week. If you do not have one, please start digging in the crates or worst case, get that $7.99 SEARS photo studio package.. :) . Once you have acquired the photo(s), post one as your profile picture. *Please post a picture of yourself. It makes it a lot easier for your friends to find you.

2: Reach out to your friends and see if they need any help posting anything. Whether it be a profile picture, their favorite song or a video of their child playing the piano, lend a helping hand.

3: Click the "Invite" button and reach out to your old classmates, teammates, etc and let them know that a network has been created to Serve the ALUMNI community of GC.

We truly appreciate your support and participation thus far!!!

*NOTE* Profiles must be set up in an Alum's name, not a business. Photos must be PG rated and appropriate. Usernames must be proper first and last names. Remember, the mission of this site is to RECONNECT alumni. If you do not post a picture and you register with a nickname, you are defeating the purpose.

Invitations: In accordance with the membership guidelines, GCRRU.com invitations are not to be sent to current Glades Central students, attendees of other high schools, or other non-GC Alumni.

Profiles: The following are guidelines and items that must be included in GCRRU.com profiles:

1. Member’s Full name 2. Personal portrait of member 3. Required Answers to the profile questions asked during registration

Profile NO-NO’s:

1. Profiles are not to be set up in a company name or as a name intended to advertise another business. 2. Profile photos cannot contain nudity(partial or whole), vulgar titles, anything obscene or that can be taken as disrespectful, immoral or illegal. 3. Cannot contain hyperlinks, or a series of web addresses that promote another business including but not limited to another Social Networking site, pornographic websites and dating/ classified advertisements

Your profile is a way to let your GC friends and Alum to get a quick snapshot of your life, including photos, a personal description and your location. If you would like to provide information about a current venture or business opportunity, GCRRU.com asks that you relay it in personal messages (not comments) or in the topic appropriate group/forum. If a member’s profile does not abide by the guidelines set forth here and in the GCRRU.com User’s Agreement, GCRRU.com has the right to delete the profile and suspend and/or terminate the user from the network indefinitely.

Groups:

Groups must follow the same requirements of personal profiles in that they must contain a photo and a descriptor. Groups will be held to the same standards of Personal profiles and if they are deemed irrelevant, inappropriate or show no activity, GCRRU.com has the right to delete the group and if necessary suspend or terminate the member’s personal profile.

On SPAM:

We define spam as any unsolicited advertising or marketing via email, private message, comments, or discussion forum post. Please refrain from degrading the site by delivering SPAM. Users who partake in such will be BANNED. Banning will result in loss of data and comments.
